My car is a 09 LS3 automatic. It's in a crank/no start status. I am down to hopefully last step in fixing the problem.
Almost everyone tells me the problem is probably a bent fuse blade. I thought I could just remove the four bolts
in the fust box to check those pins. I cant find any other connectors that get me inside.
At the risk of sounding stupid can someone tell me how to get to those pins that connect to the relays/fuses:
The fuse box sections are held together by large hollow rivets. The bolts slide through them. You will need to crimp the flattened end of each to slide the rivet out and disassemble the box sections. I used a medium size slip joint pliers.
gdmoore01 is exactly correct. I had to get mine apart due to the infamous low beam headlight staying off syndrome. I didn't use the jumper wire, as it was already done after a re-call in 2014, and obviously it didn't continue to stop the problem. It's a difficult thing in the beginning to get the bolts out, but once you get the crimping done, it's a piece of cake. Then you can observe the pins, and hopefully find the problem. good luck!
@4SUMERZ posted this set of instructions on how to disassemble the fuse box. It was aimed at fixing the low beam headlight problem, but it would assist in taking the fuse box apart for sure.
