So when my dad passed away in 2009 I decided that I was going to start to live every day like there may not be a tomorrow and one of the things I decided to do was to buy a weekend car. My search included all makes and models, but I wound up with a beautiful low mile 2001 millennium yellow C5 and it was gorgeous. I did wheels put a cam in it lowered it all the usual stuff and drove it for three years then Ford introduced the 2013 GT 500 and I had to have one so I found an allocation and purchased it a year later, selling the Corvette to a friend …but it never gave me that low slung sports car feeling that I got in the Corvette. Not that it wasn’t fun. It was just different and then life got in the way and I wound up selling it .couple years later I found a great deal on a hellcat , which was also a very fun ride but again didn’t give me that same feeling that the Corvette did it so I sold that in and started looking for a Corvette again I was going to get another C-5 but came across what I think was a really good deal on a C6 and so here I am with my 2012 grand sport auto trans 2LT coupe… 31,500 on the clock, blade silver ,JTM stage 3 package,1 7/8s American racing headers with a BBE PRT exhaust, brand new Varro DO1 wheels with Toyo r888s out back and Nitto invos up front along with the stock wheels and tires that are in excellent shape the Michelin pilot super sports are like new as well. The car itself is super clean. I picked it up for $36,500… The C5s that I was looking at or all high 20s low 30s so I think this is a good deal anyways glad to be back…here is a couple pics
Beautiful (and fast) GS ! Nice garage too ! Congratulations !
(Cowboys fan in NY ? )
I've always wanted a Vette (C6) and it's everything i expected and more. Never been in a GT500 or Hellcat. I'm glad you added your experience with those cars, I've always been curious, but got what i want and it's a keeper.
My first silver car I hope it’s good at hiding dust and dirt like white does.
