I live in Southern Maine in the past week we have had two storms totaling 19 inches of snow. I have lived in Texas 26 years, Arizona 1 year absolutely hated it, Pennsylvania 5 years and in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine for a total of 43 years. There is no place I would rather be than in New England. My Corvette sits in my garage from the beginning of December until the middle of March. I drive the car rain or shine, while some may view this as blasphemy it is after all a Chevrolet and out of the goodness of their hearts they have made a lot of them and if need be I can always get another one.

the only weather I won't drive in, is the snow. yes, snow in California. while I do live the SF bay area, if we do see snow, it'll be in the foothills ( +2,000' ). i did get hit some unexpected snow coming back from Oregon ( Dec, 29th ), just across the state line
i hit a some light snow, gone when it hit the ground. but I'd never intentionally go looking for it. Hit some black ice once (Jan. 1st/2019) in northern California. that one puckered me up a bit. only doing about 25mph on back country road, but it was a bit
down hill, ended into a blind left hand corner. I was sliding into the oncoming traffic, and luckily got some traction before hitting the corner or any traffic. I stay away from Reno or Tahoe until spring. Even if i had a viable vehicle and the passes were open.
I grew up on Long Island N.Y. Spent winters skiing and snowmobiling in the Adirondacks. I didn't have a Corvette then but I
would not have liked not driving it if I did. Loved winters and all it offered. Now that I'm a lot older and live in Georgia I get to drive
my Vette all year round. I would never move back North.
Can't stand the cold what-so-ever! Living in the Valley of the Sun, I've never missed shoveling snow, scraping windows, icy roads, and of course COLD weather. Moved here from Colorado 38 years ago and wouldn't move back! They had a brutal winter this year (My sister-in-law has complained constantly of the below zero temps, and lots of snow). I've never shoveled sunshine, nor scraped it off my windows. We have that new invention called A/C (everyplace has it), and seldom ever turn on the furnace in the winter, although we've had the coldest winter this year since we moved here! Had some cold days this winter with temps in the 50's and I just hated it. It's 72 today, and absolutely beautiful, which is 6 degrees below "normal" for this time of year. We do have snow in the mountains, and this year a LOT of it, which is great as we were in the 17th year of drought. Snow and cold? Forget that! OH, by the way......in the summer heat, we can drive 90 minutes north into the mountains for those 70-80 degree days, the best of both worlds!
When I look at the miserable blizzard / icy / frozen conditions those poor folks living up north have been experiencing, it's kinda hard for me to believe in "Global Warming" ... and I bet Global Warming is not on the mind of those northerners right about now either.
I actually like the 4 seasons, in the Pittsburgh area, we haven't had a bad winter in 10+ years...we have no extremes here, no 100* days, no hurricanes/tornadoes/gators/pythons

You're right - all in all, the weather has been good. Change in seasons is nice. I've been in hurricanes in New Jersey, a tornado in Indiana, an earthquake in California. miserably hot and damp stuff in Florida, etc.

We live in Sedona. I think we have the best four season climate here of any place we have ever been to. We get a little snow, but it melts by the next day. It gets hot here in the summer, but nowhere near as brutally hot as Phoenix. Spring and fall are glorious. Not much rain, no humidity. No tornadoes or hurricanes. Golf year round. About perfect.

Winter in Ohio drives me crazy. Will have nice weather but salt still on the roads. I snuck it out a few weeks ago after we had a lot of rain. Now salt is all over the place. I’m excited and ready for his first full exterior detail.
I daily mine in CBus. Sometimes it's sketchy, but never dull! Where in OH are you?
Jersey has been nice all winter. We had a light dusting on Tuesday so of course they laid down a ton of salt. Light rain since beautiful day today but roads are covered in salt so no rides today😠 go Steelers!
Here in Conroe, Tx it is 45* and sun shiny. Yesterday it was 5x* and light rain all day but that didn't deter the club from going on our annual Bluebonnet Run on the backroads between Houston - Austin. Still had a great day in the Vettes and visiting with each other.
I grew up in the St. Louis area and loved the snow and sometimes at night with the street lights on while it was snowing made it look like a winter wonderlands scene. That was until I started working and had to drive in the stuff...with ice! I got out of the Marine Corps in 1971, got married in 1981 and moved to the Houston area in 1982 and have been here ever since. I don't think I could ever go back to the snow belt and freeze my brass ba$$s off. I'm not equipped for that anymore.
Yeah, I know it's a C7 but I'm in the process of adding a splitter/side skirts/spoiler to the 2007 Z06 that has been painted the same body color as the rest of the car, LeMans Blue.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA (south hills, McKeesport, Allegheny County). Lived in eastern Ohio for 5 years, Northern Maryland 18 months, Lakeland, FL the last 21 years.
The summers in Florida are brutal , the "winter' is paradise here - but I could never move back north. I got about 11 years until i retire, i'm heavily considering southern South Carolina.

We saw all y'all out there. I was incognito in my GMC Sierra when you rolled up on us.

I remember seeing you on the side of the road when we surrounded you. I was behind the red c8 that was directly behind you on the passenger side. I was thinking that we had blocked you in and we backed up away from your rear bumper. Should have brought your vette and you could have joined us...if you wanted to.
