Extra shifter option?
I discovered I have a sixth option on my 2010 GS A6 shifter that only has five selections.
I have three different forward settings to choose from. Anybody else experiencing this?
Mine goes:
P
R
N
D
S
You should only be able to pull it back four times after park. I can go five and all three are forward driving gears.
Also, the little orange marker on the shifter doesn’t line up after you pull out of reverse as well.

Ah, you’ve got the very rare but desirable FC option. Check your glovebox label for it. It stands for Flux Capacitor. Say Hi to Marty McFly for me if you meet him. Just be careful with it. Some folks never return.

I already have an appointment at the dealer this Tuesday for something unrelated so I’ll have them look at it then.
I just thought the whole thing was weird because this has never happened to me with any car that I’ve ever had, or anybody I knew has ever had.
I’m finding there’s a lot of things about this Corvette that don’t seem to “just happen” to any other car lol.
