Is there a time limit on our cars like for batteries/. Like 4 years we should try and replace. Or 5 etc.
Thanks
Depends on if it sits on a maintainer (not charger).while not being driven, I usually get 3 - 4 years out of ANY car battery. Have it tested periodically (when you change the oil and replace it when it fails. These cars do funny things when the battery gets weak.
There have been numerous posts on batteries over the past number of months. I reiterate, the Arizona heat eats batteries up. The average battery life in the desert is 18-22 months. I believe it also depends on the area in which you live. Extremely cold weather (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Maine, the Rockies, etc.) will also wreak havoc on batteries.
I’m getting about five years out of my Optima red top. It sits in the garage and bakes (AZ weather) most of the time, on a battery tender. I drive maybe 1000 miles a year now, since retirement.
I believe if you keep it on a maintainer you’ll get many years of service out of most batteries.
I just changed out my original 10 year old battery out of 2013 so that goes against people saying that Corvettes "eat" batteries...I do keep it on a battery tender when not in use, maybe that helps

I seem to run right around 2 - 2-1/2 years on battery life.. I do not use a battery tender, as I drive mine at least 3 - 4 days a week. I have had it happen once, where it sat for maybe 3 days, and upon trying to start it, had it turn over very slowly, but it did catch and start.
other than it once having a stuck passenger side seat (causing the motor to be a constant cycle mode, which totally drained the battery), the only thing that I'm aware of being a drain, would be the dash cam (as I always leave it on).
I figure the best thing I can do to extend the battery life, is to drive it.

I put a mini-split in my garage in Tucson. A tad over $2000 and keeps the garage cool, even on the hottest days.
Corvette, Harley, boat, I keep them all on chargers (2 on Battery Tenders, the boat on a NoCo) all the time when not in use, I typically get 6-7 years out of all the batteries. Bike (2014) is on it's second battery, Corvette (I've owned since 2010) is on it's second battery and probably due, boat (new in 2019) still has both original batteries. I can't remember the last time I had a dead battery, probably YEARS...as always, YMMV!
along with proper battery maintenance, I picked up about a year ago, a portable mini charger. I've used it a few times ( and not just on the 'vette!! ). this thing holds a charge too.
I charged it to 100% capacity, and having used it twice, and sitting in the car for about most of a year, i checked it range, and it showed 98%. I also keep a set jumper cables on hand.
I'm not the **** type, but as the main issue on these cars seems to be the battery, why not at least the minimum tools on hand ( not to mention a 10mm gear wrench )?
