Whats is the best current choice for splash guards for a base C6? Stock tires but I need a little better protection without being gaudy.

There're a number of sources for ordinary front flaps.
A search will provide multiple vendors.
On my --now gone-- '06 bought a set, wasn't concerned w/ esthetics per se..
Ones I found were simple flaps, an easy install, did exactly what they were supposed to: limit road rash.
Only regret was NOT doing it a lot sooner.
Abrasion from sand/debris made a mess of rockers/door edges. SMH

On my '08 Z06 I did NOT make the same mistake.
Bought a set of Apsis shortly after purchase.

The base GM splash guards are discontinued but occasionally will pop up in the parts for sale. The aftermarket ones on Ebay & Amazon look like the GM ones but the fitment is not perfect or at least not for me . Some forum members have reported good fitment with the aftermarket brands.

I have a base 06 and I added a supercharger and needed more traction( wider tires) got myself some CCW wheels that mount 325/275 rubber which comes right out to the bodywork w/o sticking outside. Then I was concerned about rocks. After some research I decided the GM splashes would work best. They did and still do and are unobtrusive to look at. Cars could have come from the factory with them and it would be a minuscule that would complain. If you can find them I’d get them if I were you.

I put ZR1 style GM stone guards on my 2008 base. Excellent look and fit. The part no. is GM191702334. I paid $109.00 for them (four); BUT, that was 5 years ago, so I hope you can still find them and at a reasonable price.

OP is referring to front splashguards, not rear. Front wheels are where all the damaging debris gets flung from.

Fully understand, Apsis are expensive.
When I bought Apsis in '09 cost was $300..apparently Apsis had a substantial price increase.
*Bought Apsis for the Z06 I traded '06 for, wanted maximum protection & willing to pay.

FWIW for my '06 bought GM's, 'lee' says GM discontinued.
Although, apparently other very similar to GM's are available.
