Hi guys and gals..
I have a 2007, c6 corvette (paddle shifters), I know what's wrong with it, have a mechanic that will do the work. I keep getting the run around from the aftermarket parts places,
so what I need are the part #s for a 2007 c6 corvette..
-aftermarket mid price ranged, Harmonic Balancer
-Crank Bolt part #
-h2o pump part#
-crank seal part #
Any help is appreciated, thank yall
Do not put OEM HB back on your engine (they are crap), use a good after market HB, I installed the Power Bond PB1117SS, ordered it from O'reilly's
Go to Ebay or Amazon and get the ARP Bolt for the HB for your LS engine model, any car parts store for the front seal and for that matter the water pump ( it would have a lifetime warranty)
While your on the front of your engine, perfect time to replace the 2x belts along with the 2x belt tensioners.
If you have the original short PS pressure line that is prone to failure on LS2 engines.
This is good advice, replace the power steering lines with the updated design while your in the front of the engine. You can buy OEM or again, at any auto parts store
When I did mine last fall we ordered one from summit racing https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-c2501
I was also told to get the ARP bolt that goes with it I think it was part number 234-2503
Absolutely the PowerBond HB, belt, ARP bolt, seal. Fairly easy once you get the rack out of the way!! Plenty of video's on the job either here on the site or Google it. Don't bother pinning it unless you're planning on a super charger.
