Back up lights
My back up lights and camera will stay on with every thing off. Replaced switch and does it intermittently. It’s a JVC head unit and a license plate bracket back op camera. Any thoughts? 2006 convertible

It kind of sounds like someone wired the head unit wrong? Maybe someone wired the camera power from the "always hot" radio wiring instead of the ignition radio wire, and tied it in to the reverse lights for the reverse signal instead of the reverse signal at the radio harness?

you described would it be intermittent? I am on the hunt for a new relay. I will explore your suggestion and see
