Is there an updated part number for the rear pads? 89026853 is OOS everywhere I look (Amazon, RockAuto, etc.)

Not GM, but ACDelco, the replacement parts division of GM offers ACDelco Gold semi-metallic pads....part number 17D732MHF1.

The "732" in the middle of the part number is the industry standard number for rear C6 pads. You can search "732 brake pads" and find some from other manufacturers.

If you are open to other pad options I would suggest the Carbotech 1521 pads.

Carbotech brake pads are 100% made in the USA and contain NRS Technology Here is a link to explain further what NRS technology is exactly: http://www.nrsbrakes.com
