They're molded into the cluster piece. Its not a terrible job to get it out though. It just unsnaps and then you'll have a few connectors that youll need to undo. Have a good pick, and a mirror or your phone help to see what the heck your doing (its kind of a weird angle to get the connectors to release). Overall not a bad job.
I would go to U-tube and find a video, they come out very easy, but remember be carful plastic is brittle, had to remove to replace the ignition switch.
