2008 Z51 A6 with 126k miles

This sound only happens after driving long distance or driving long enough that the trans fluid gets above 150 degrees.

I don't hear it after normal short drives until the trans fluids get hot and when the trans fluid gets over 150, I only hear it when the car is idling in park or in gear. It seems to be coming from the center, not engine or rear end.

I'm not sure what this could be, it doesn't effect performance and the vette drives great!

Does this sound like an air leak or pump and has anybody experienced this sound before?

Not sure if the whistle is clear throughout the vid.

You need to get the car up to temp, then get it up on a lift. Once in the air, start the car and attempt to localize where the "whistle" is coming from.
