Center console power receptacle
Hopefully quick question. Is the front power receptacle in the ashtray area the same as the one in the center console? And is
25774623 the correct part number?
The power receptacle in the center console stopped working awhile back when I had a portable tire inflator plugged in. I checked the fuse and it seems ok, so I figured the receptacle itself must have been damaged.
I previously removed the receptacle in the front and replaced it with a usb outlet, can I swap that one into the center console (assuming I can find it)?

I’m not sure on the replacement part # but they are the same power receptacle. Mine stopped working on the center console and it turned out to be the fuse was blown. Did you use a fuse tester?
Also, where did you pick up your USB replacement?

If this might help, I took these pictures when I replaced my shifter to a short throw shifter.
My console receptacle stopped working when I put it together, but it will work if I press the top and bottom together.
I gave up on trying to figure it out.

You have the right part number. I had the tool to remove that plug and for the life of me it would not come out. I wound up destroying the retainer to get the plug and the tool out of the console.

My ashtray plug was moved to the console when I put the USB plug on the ashtray location. Only issue I had was the retainers that hold the plugs in place. I cut them off and bought new.

The 2nd fuse that I hadn't checked previously was blown. Replaced it but the receptacle still doesn't work. Ordered a new one and will swap it out next time I'm home. Hopefully that fixes it.

Those power receptacles are not meant to be used for higher amperage accessories like tire inflators. You really need to use the smaller alligator clip type cables that you connect directly to the battery posts. You can buy a cable that has the clips on one end and and the female cigarette type receptacle on the other.
