Rooftop
Hi,
Its been a while since I logged in.
Anyway, I have a question about my rooftop on my C6.
It is removable. It squeaks and makes a chaffing sound when Im driving. Is that a simple fix? The noise is coming from where it connects to the windshield.
Any help would be much appreciated.

What year, since older ones had the roller hardware that you may need to C clip to the rollers to stop them rattling, make sure that the roof top peds are tight, and maybe even need to adjust the clamp.
If a z06, roof does not come off with these, and may have a roof panel that is de lam'g from the frame panel.
As for the rest, dielectric grease will stop the noise there.

One of these needs to be installed on the pin for each latch roller.

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and got the O-rings of the size you stated. However they are quite smaller than the ones that are in there now. I have a 2012 C6. Wonder if the year makes a difference.

Just for clarification to my reply. I put the Danco O-rings in on top of the original seals. Using the same glass roof on my 2013 GS as was on my 2008 coupe. Plus the dielelectric grease

Rebecca and I are first time Corvette people, and as I have stated elsewhere, I am really a MOPAR Person, But we solved that problem with our research prior to buying our C6. We got an 08 RAG, bit bigger motor, And the conv.'s, at least all the ones we drove did not rattle. I believe the truck is also bigger, especially with the "soft" top stored vs a hard top! But that video did make sense.
