I have a 2005 C6 Z51 and I am wondering if I am missing a mounting bolt in my BCM. It looks like there is a second threaded hole, similar to the bolts holding the fuse block in under the hood. Does anybody have a picture of their BCM? Thanks!!
No bolt in the grommet for the C6, so all is fine.
The BCM is used in few different models, so in some case in different cars since it has a connector socket on the bottom side that can use a connector there..may be bolted to the car from the bottom side on a stand off, its the reason for the threaded grommet in that location. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/4f8AA...-e/s-l1600.jpg
Dash lines in the above are the two relays on the bottom (that you have pull the BCM out to get to), and you have fuse block below, as well to the right hand side of the BCM module itself that may still have there covers on.
