Default Extended Trip

I'm leaving on an extended trip with the Vette and I'd like to take both FOB's along. I'm concerned that the extra FOB will cause some problems with locking/unlocking/starting if left in the vehicle. Has anyone had any experience with a product that would shield the signals from a FOB? Or?

If you have an EZ Pass or Sunshine Pass, use the metalized bag provided with the transponder.

Try wrapping it in foil.

Take out the battery before storing. My 2nd fob has been in the back cubby for many years

Also suggest hiding a door key somewhere outside the car.

Agree with C6toGo.......hide an extra key on the outside of the car, and take the battery out of the extra FOB. That's the "key" to your request on this post. Have a safe trip!

You can always leave the wife in charge of the extra key… at least you’ll know how it got lost 🤔
