Hello everyone.. Thinking about installing Billy Boat PRT exhaust at Carlisle..I have a 2011 GS AUTO WITHOUT NPP. Anyone has this? Like it? How is the drone?
I bought an ‘07 last spring that came with the Billy Boat exhaust. I like it. It is a little bit louder than the Corsa sport that I had on my C5. No drone at speed.
My Centennial GS vert had one on it when I bought it in 2014. They aren't super loud and only get "buzzy" at high load/lower rpm situations like driving up a long, steep hill in town. That said, they do make a fair amount of noise at Interstate highway speeds. It got annoying to me so I sold the PRT and bought a low mile take-off OEM NPP and installed an NPP in a Box controller. I now have loud when I want and factory quiet when I want at the push of a button. Quiet is wonderful on a long highway trip.
