2007 base coupe, I installed Michelin pilot sport all season 4 NON- run flat tires, rides very nice now and no whinny sound from tires, what is the recommended tire pressure for NON-run tires as the tire pressure on car is 30 psi for run flats that came with car.
Note that the label in the door frame doesn't mention whether that pressure is for run flats or regular tires. It's for ANY tires.
Not necessarily... The pressures listed on the door frame are for the tire type and size that originally came on the vehicle. If different-sized tires or different tire construction have been installed, the listed pressures won’t necessarily be optimal.
FWIW - one place I often see the sticker in error is on classic vehicles. For example my 70 Corvette lists 24 pounds on the sticker, but that is for the old bias-ply tires, where a modern radial should run around 30 psi. Anyhoo... food for thought.
Tire pressure for non-run flat Michelin on 2007 corvette base coupe.
As I new to this site and just signed up I want to thank all who responded to my question, much appreciated to everyone on their help.. I’m going with 30 psi to start but not more than 32 depending on the ride, thx again to all.👍
I run 30....non-runflat Michelins as well. Don't forget to have an inflator/plug kit in the trunk. Griot's has some....actually there are some at Walmart now also.

Post #6 in this thread states that the Z06 shipped with non run-flat tires, but the door placard specifies 30 psi. Not having owned one, I can’t verify this. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...run-flats.html
And vehicle weight doesn’t necessarily determine tire pressure. Both my Olds Aurora and Caddy STS-4 weighed considerably more than the vette, and the door jamb data plate specified 30 psi in both cases.

Keep in mind also that for every 10 degrees the outside air temp changes the tire pressure will go the same direction by 1 psi so if you set then 30 pso and it's 85 outside they will be 28 when it's 65.
