I’m looking to install a rear spoiler on my ‘05 base model. Looking for suggestions on what to get. Really don’t want to drill holes. What suggestions or thoughts can I get?

I've had spoilers just held in with 3M tape and many manufactures use this method but it depends what kind of spoiler you are talking about

You already have holes in bumper cover for the pencil spoiler....two more on the each of wings won't matter as they will be covered up with said new spoiler....That part of the cover goes straight to the ground underneath it....
The Ron Fellows in my favorite followed by the zr1....I'm not a fan of any except oem appearing...
good luck...the drilling is easy if you have a template...just hold your breath hit the trigger..and poof...its done...

I can vouch for C7 Carbon's quality. I went with their ZR1 extended. Might be larger than some like but I like it. The Ron Fellows style is one of my favorites too - a very clean look if you can find one or a reproduction. .
What is the difference between a 90 dollar spoiler on eBay vs an 800 dollar spoiler on some of these sights I see folks are recommending? I’d like the look of the one on eBay. I’m not a fan of carbon fiber.
This is the GM OEM spoiler on my '05. Was available (back then) in body color.... excellent fit & finish & although I did drill a couple of holes & used fasteners to install, it probably could be installed with 2-sided tape.

Look on Ebay, The spoiler company has a ZR1 type rear spoiler that comes painted and attaches with double sided tape and priced around $250. Forum member iceax has installed many of them with no issues and says the paint is a perfect match.

That's the same as mine. It's the 'Ron Fellows' spoiler, originally on the 'RF' edition Z06 from 2007.
I bought it from GM in around 2009, it came already painted for about $300.
IMO, It's the nicest C6 spoiler I've ever seen, but no longer available.

Typically you'll get what you pay for. Id recommend atleast going with EOS if your on a budget, if not C7 Carbon or Veloz both do fiberglass non-carbon versions that should fit great.
On my 07 I had a spoiler painted body color and I couldn’t ask for a better match. No drilling, came with 3M tape. The fit and finish was great too. I believe it was The Spoiler Depot on eBay. You supply the GM color code and they will match it. If I’m remembering correctly it was less then $200 but I could be wrong. 🤷🏼
I went with the primed EOS ZR1 version on my 2009 ZO6 and drilled the holes. I had it painted to match locally. One thing to consider, the paint on your 18 - 19 year old car may have faded a bit and the GM paint code may not be a perfect match. My local paint shop scanned the paint on my car to get a perfect match.
If you want something affordable I'd go with extremeonlinestore.com
Matte black ZR1 style spoiler (not extended) was around $150 for me. It comes with all the hardware if you DO want to drill holes but I'm like you and did not want to... just use the 4 factory spoiler holes and put 3m tape on the edges. You couldn't tell a difference between this one and one that has the extra 3 drilled holes on each side.
Best part is that I can remove it and put on a different one, or even the tiny factory one that comes with the car and no holes will be shown.

Why does the picture from trunk side look like there are gaps where it bows in?
