The best way to see if they know what they are doing is to ask them how they torque the new bolt. If it is a new GM bolt, torque is 38# plus 140 degrees of rotation (double check those numbers but you get the idea). If he says 200#/ft or some other single number, he is guessing. Dealerships will use a new GM bolt.

Good move. I just had one installed last week on mine also. Summit is a good choice.
