Anybody deal with Ceasar from TPS in California? Ordered a C6 ZO6 brake kit powdercoated candy apple blue on June 27th 2023 and still have not received this product. Contacted him several times by email, text and 2 phone calls. Keeps saying its on its way but it never shows up and no tracking numbers. This is a 3k kit! Is this a typical time period for this product? He told me at the beginning of this week that it would be shipped out by Friday and still nothing. Contacted him one more time today and he asked for the order number gave it to him with a copy of the paid invoice and now he has ghosted me. After that pic no correspondence.

I ordered an A@A Supercharger kit from Mike at TPS in May.
He was easy to communicate with and even called me back on a Sunday which was his day off.
Product arrived as promised within a week or two.
I understand your frustration but the odds are the manufacturer is probably having delays.
I say this as I’m still waiting for a PLX O2 wideband which was ordered with a Dashlogic from Palmerperformance back in May.
My credit card was charged in May and every month I write an email requesting an update as they have no phone and every month its estimated to be 4 weeks away.
I have a hard and fast policy if a vendor doesn’t have a working phone# I’m not buying from them!! Way to easy to hide behind text and emails which is super frustrating imo. Just saying....
For me and my only experience with TPS is that whoever runs the shop isn't organized enough to keep track of orders consistently. I think you'll eventually get what you paid for but you'll need to do the follow up yourself to make sure it gets shipped out to you.
Dale 96 this is a complete kit with rotors, SS brake lines, and GM Z06 calipers loaded with ceramic brake pads that they said was ALL IN HOUSE, except for the powdercoating process which he told me wasn't far from them. So I provided nothing.. This is why I'm pissed. He told me they would be shipped out by last Friday, didn't happen. Just received an Email from them stating now they will be sending it out by this Wednesday. Said that he and his entire crew has been battling illnesses. I will be no longer contacting this person, this company has given the worst customer service that I've ever seen in a while now and will never be using them again. If I don't have a tracking number this week I will be issuing a charge back on him. 8 weeks is ridiculous in a non COVID-19 problem shipping world.
I had a set of calipers for a GS powder coated . They furnished calipers and I paid a core charge guaranteeing that I'd send mine in . Took approximately two months to get the new calipers-took a month to get the deposit back ($2000)after they received my cores . Mike did respond-but there were excuses-short on help- on vacation!!!!!!!! I had filed a complaint with my credit card-but they did issue the refund -The work was excellent and the packaging was excellent , too. It just should be easier to do business . I sincerely believe that a lot of small businesses have such a problem with cash flow that it hurts their ability to keep items in stock or to purchase items they have sold . I've been a small business owner all of my adult life , so I have a little idea of what they go through . Of the 3-4 Corvette items I've tried to purchase in the last 6 months , the items have not been in stock or have been not obtainable when they took my money . It seems as tho that's how it works today-I hope you get your parts . I'd try to speak to Mike directly -he always at least responded to me
I did the caliper swap with Mike. He shorted me on the core refund. He says I paid $450 where the invoice clearly reads $500. He even called and told me the calipers looked okay, but seemed more concerned about my purchase price. I got a great deal a few days before Black Friday. Even today, he disputes the price on his invoice. That and I forced him to return the sales tax on the refurbished calipers. He claims nobody has questioned him keeping that portion. California tax code requires sales tax on refurbished parts to also be refunded. So those two things have got him in a tizzy. I think he’s trying to make-up some perceived lost profit. It’s now a credit card dispute.
