Default Faircloth composites?

Does anyone have experience with the widebody rear fenders and B92 carbon fiber hood from faircloth composites? Starting to plan out winter mods. Curious on fitment of these. The hood is very pricey, but if it fits well I gotta have it. Any feedback about these parts or good and bad experiences with the company is much needed and appreciated.

Thank you. I've only heard good things. Wanted some feedback from here because I know this group can be pretty picky.

If you're on Facebook, Chris Faircloth (owner) is in a lot of C6 pages. I constantly see people vouch for him and saying his fitment is spot on with little to no adjsutments. In this case you get what you pay for.

Told the wife this was probably a January or February purchase unless there is a good black Friday deal. She was unimpressed with the price. She became even more unimpressed when I showed her the price of the show finish option for the hood that I plan on purchasing. She said it's not happening. The only logical response a man can have after such a serious conversation is to go ahead and do it anyway. 😆 🤣

All the aero on my 17 GS is Faircloth Composites. Best carbon work I've personally seen, great stuff!

I would save your money if you haven't purchased it yet. The overall product is beautiful but fitment is a whole different story. They are not OEM fitment and will require a lot of adjustments.

They are custom hand made carbon panels, no **** they aren't OEM fitment. They are the best carbon panels on the market, if you want good parts go with FC.

Plus one for that, rarely ever heard a complaint out of anything Chris has made and I'd say for certain he'd stand behind it if something had a flaw or failure.

They are made from OEM molds with the description of OEM fitment "Guaranteed". So you would think it would fit like an OEM fender does, right?

Maybe you don't know what OEM fitment means 🤷‍♂️

I've worked on GM cars for 30 plus years, OEM fitment isn't anything to be proud of lol, these cars are not shining examples of world class build quality.

That is very true but the gaps from stock fenders compared to FC are bad.

entirely possible, I can't say I've ever seen one in person. That seems to be the case with almost every aftermarket hood I've ever seen though to be fair.

Very true but more specifically the fenders require a lot of adjustments. I didn't think it would take 20+ hours to get them to fit properly, especially after the guarantee it was OEM quality. My stock GS fenders lined up perfectly on a base model with no issues. Kind of disappointed on the whole process.
