Security light stays on
2012 GS, security light stays on with engine running
battery did get low and needed charging but windows never lost indexing
I did the test alarm procedure in the manual and the alarm works fine
test is
roll down drivers window
arm the alarm by either hitting lock on key fob or lock button in car with door open
get out of car, shut door
reach in open window and use manual lever to open door
alarm should sound, and it does
also from the manual
Arming the System
To arm the system, press Q on the RKE transmitter, or open the door
and lock the door with the power door lock switch. The security light
should flash. Remove the RKE transmitter from inside the vehicle
and close the door. The security light stops flashing and stays on.
After 30 seconds, the light should turn off.
this works perfectly, the only problem is that when starting the car, the light stays on all the time
the manual just says that in this case the vehicle needs service
so what is the dealer going to do about it ?

Sometimes a low battery will cause little electrical glitches, a lot of times you can clear these by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, the hooking it back up. This resets everything and will probably address your issue. I might suggest you take your battery in and having it load tested to make sure it's still good, and replace it if needed.
