Shock Upgrade Help

My 09 Coupe needs a new front shock on the drivers side. The interior Jounce Bumper is cracked and starting to crumble. It now makes an annoying squeak. As a result, I’m going to replace all four shocks. I’m thinking of going with Bilsteins but not sure which model to go with. I don’t track the car. I’ve seen B6 and B8 models listed but want some input from the members. Thanks for your help.

B6 if you want a slightly softer ride and B8 if you want a more firm sporty ride.

I would also take a look at C6 Z06 shocks. GM genuine part, and generally inexpensive for what it is.

B8, no questions about it, I did it last summer and love them, easy couple hour job.

I've been running Z06 shocks with Z51 sways for years. I found them for cheap on the forum with very few miles on them. If/when they wear out, I'll look for another set on the cheap. If I can't find any, B6's would be the choice if buying new.
