why? Assume that would be extra money, $10 tool on Amazon solves this in 90 seconds.

I'm not sure what "pre-programmed" TPMS are?

they have to be matched to the vehicle after installation. The process is in the owners manual. It takes less than a minute to complete.

I went with Continental (DWS) non RF tires on the first change and were very happy with the ride, comfort and quiet of these tires over the Goodyear RF. On the second change I went with Continental Extreme which I am also happy with. Continental did not have the original DWS I had bought the first time so I got what they had which was also an all-season tire-Continental Extreme.

OEM are made by Shrader, so get OEM from the dealer if you want to drop the $$ or goto local parts place and ask for the Shrader TPMS, should be like $60ea last time I looked a few months back.. You will need to program them to the car(or the tire shop can do it)
