Replaced the front shocks on my 2008 base model yesterday and noticed these round plugs on the front of the fender liner on both sides. I was just curious as to what they were. They're slotted kind of like a headlight bulb socket. I was thinking they were maybe for changing the bulbs in the fog light but doesn't look like they line up.
Air ducts for front brakes, but are they capped? I think mine are large open holes in the fender liner with nothing sticking out. I'm away from home to take a look & confirm.
They do normally stick out, but those do looked capped. They should just be a tubular end on that, no capping. Wonder if someone did that to keep brake dust from going out on the wheels?
