RCDLR interchange?
Wondering if anyone knows if there are differences between the various C6 years in terms of RCDLR compatibility/interchange? I don't need one (yet), but I found a used one locally for a good price but it's from a 2007. Wondering if it will work in a 2013?
I figure it would be good to have one on hand just in case.

Pretty sure it will not work. The following use different units based on the model years:
2005 - 2007
2008 - 2009
2010 - 2013

Also, looks like modules were refurbished by GM and resold as the cars aged, which reflects the reasoning behind so many updates in the part numbers. Currently, GM will no longer supply any of the modules.
Based on descriptions, it appears that differences are also attributed to how the module reacts to remote keyless entry types across auto models. (use by other models than just the Corvette)

The salvage yards claim that any unit will work. I find that hard to believe.
