I have a 2007 Coupe with a rear view mirror com[*** reading stuck in the North direction. I replaced the car battery and also installed an Escort 360 Max radar detector with the Blendmount hardware and Mirror Tap cording both around the same time
I've tried the recalibration procedure twice but no luck. So not sure if something happened when replacing the battery or if it's most likely the detector and associated hardware. I have noticed that the mounting setup for the 360 has a pretty strong magnet.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or similar experiences/solutions would be greatly appreciated.
The mirror in my 2011 is also stuck on N. I went through the recalibration procedure outlined in the manual and it changed to NW for a little bit, but it's back to N again. It's also stuck on auto dim, so I can't really see out of it during the day well & nothing at night. If I drove the vehicle more than 1k mi/year I'd probably get it replaced/fixed.
