I can confirm that Mike has enough cash assets to buy the Morimotos 10 times over and not even know any of his money is missing...it was not the money...the headlights Mike bought are really cool looking and will change the looks for the better at 20% of the cost....and they are NOT made in china..it's a win win for Mike...

You should probably do a little research. And they really stand behind them with their 1-year warranty
"AnzoUSA products are SAE and DOT compliant to FMVSS No. 108 and manufactured overseas in a state-of-the-art ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified factory."
yes, have seen it several times including my neighbor who I helped get rid of them. These lights would be at the top of my do not buy list. In addition I'd much rather have lights that mimic a c7 than lights that mimic a viper. These lights are trash.
I've been running these lights for years with zero issues. The gaskets are perfect. Zoom in, the are PERFECT!

The word "overseas" does not appear anywhere on that page unless they just edited it out.

google "where are anzo headlights manufactured" and it's under the second "about us" link. It does appear to be edited out of the first "about us" link that pops up, which seems a bit shady. Their lights also look identical to the Eagle Eye lights posted above that clearly say manufactured in Taiwan.
Actually, the led strip follows the curve of the headlight housing and the fender. It looks factory.
Nobody would mistake those for factory lights. Seems some feel the need to keep defending their choice by adding in their net worth and what they can afford. I'll reiterate, as long as the owner likes them, that's all that matters.

What are the headlight options available with out spending over $1200. Let me rephrase it...looking for after market headlight options. I don't want to spend 1500 on Morimoto headlights.
It's unfortunately that you are a bit late for the Black Friday deal that Umnitza offered. They were selling the C7 style Morimotos for $1120. I took advantage of that, and I'm taking the extra step to get them paint matched to the car.

I have a black car, but think these color matched morimotos look great. Don't know that I could do it because it voids the warranty on the lights, but love the way it looks.

Interesting. Since it's the vendor who also sold the lights, that would be curious that they'd void the warranty by offering the painting service without a disclaimer. I'll check into that. I didn't consider it.

vettelights offers this, but has a disclaimer on their website. I've only dealt with vettelights, but it seems like both companies would go out of their way to help. Don't think I've ever seen anything but great reviews from both.

I did check into it, and it's true that it does void the 5 year warranty with Morimoto, but Umnitza offers a two year warranty on the painted lights, so they do stand behind their products. No worries.

OK - if you notice posts that you made are no longer there, it is because the posts violated forum rules or egged on the conflict. Everyone is entitled to their opinions on the quality of the lights, but when posts start conflict or attack members, it is not OK.
Please keep the conversation focused on lighting alternatives to the C6 lights. It is OK to point out experiences with the options presented or to offer comments on the appearance/perceived quality of the product. It is not OK to get into a pissing match and start attacking other members. Remember there may be varying opinions on any product and that is fine as long as it does not devolve into conflict. If you don’t agree with an opinion, post it up and leave the attacks out of it.

I prefer the stock headlights myself, but to add some fuel to the fire, here's a comparison between the Morimotos and the Spyder light output. What I like about the Spyders is you can reuse your D1S bulb and replace them when they go out. With the Morimotos, your light goes out, you need to replace the entire thing.

multiple models of spyder lights and they do have a version that has the non replaceable bulbs. If you opt for spyder I'd stay far away from built in bulbs that come with a 1 year at max and very shaky warranty. If you go with spyder I'd highly recommend the version that uses your existing headlights. You could always upgrade the bulbs if wanted as finances allow.
Mike...exactly where did you buy your new lights...I have a C5 but a neighbor has a C6 and I want to give him a set for his birthday next month...thanks
