Does anyone have the part # for a replacement gas cap for a 2013 C6, GS? The dealer gave me a # of 19435845 but I can't find anything on the internet. Thanks in advance.

I do, just like yours. Mine was imported from Phoenix to DFW and purchased in 2016. Love it!

Me too! This is my 4th C6 and the best by far. I don't have the 427 engine, but I heard not-so-good stories about rings, etc. in the 427. My car was always here in Southern AZ.

I had a gas smell in garage. Was concerned about fuel pump leakage. First step was to order a new cap. The Replacement GM cap is #19432733 ( Made in Mexico). It goes on filler neck but after "clicking" it can be pulled off the neck. These part numbers do not fit( tried 2 of them). The correct cap is a Gerdes Made in Germany, green body black cap. Still trying to find the original cap so far no luck.

If you had a bad gas cap you would most certainly have had a "check engine light" and an EVAP code...I highly doubt it is a cap issue so you may want to have the gas smell diagnosed by a professional...if you want the right cap buy it from the dealer if they have one in stock.
I found what I initially thought was the perfect gas cap for my 2011 GS. The lanyard worked in the plastic slot in the door, clicked firmly when tightened. Then the second time I tried to loosen it, the internals cracked and the cap was stuck on - no good when you're in a hurry or need gas NOW! So I ordered another one. Same problem. Same self-destruction. If you're interested, a good pull with channel lock pliers pulls the cover off to remove the offending part.
The good news is I ordered a third cap with a lanyard that fits steel fuel doors and cut off the lanyard. Now I have a gas cap that fits, doesn't self-destruct, and seals up the tank just fine. Makes me feel retro like when the gas cap came off in your hand and you put it on top of the pump!

Not necessarily. My cap hasn't latched properly in years but no message. Used to be very touchy.
That is the correct part number, but so far, every single one (6 to be exact) that I have received from 5 different GM Parts Distribution Centers (i work at a Chevrolet Cadillac dealer in NorCal) have been mis-packaged.
The part in the package is 19432733, it does not fit a Corvette C6.
