Default Morimoto’s Installed!

Pulled the trigger on a set of Morimoto’s and LED fog bulbs on my 2011 4LT Jetstream Blue Base Vert. Looks awesome! Special thanks to forum for steering me to Twin Cities Performance in St Paul, MN.

If you look at Cole's site, these C8 style are now sold under the Morimoto name and do carry the 5 year warranty just like the C7 style. I got a set during his black Friday sale (as GTRs) and as always, he provides excellent service.
OP, they look great.

Technically, they are GTR Carbide C8 style lights, not Morimoto's. While they are sister companies owned by the same parent, they are not the same. Mori's have a 5 year warranty, the GTR's only 2. Typically, if anything is going to happen to any of these lights, it will be within the first 2 years.

I prefer the look of the GTR's over the Morimoto's, and have a set of the GTR's installed in my own car but that's my personal preference, others may and do have a different opinion.

All that being said, OP, they look great in your car!!

I stand corrected. I thank you sir! And totally agree that Cole is THE BEST!!

And this is GREAT news that they've upped the warranty to 5 years. I still think these look better than the original Morimoto C7 style lights, especially when installed on the C6.

2023 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
Default Either Morimoto headlights because are both great looking

I actually like either the carbide look or the C7 look. I prefer the C7 look and that's what I have on my C6.

Personally I prefer the C7 style Morimoto's, but either one looks great.....better than the bug eye OEM headlights

@madsonp Seems like you fell into the same trap I did. If you check Cole's website, you'll see that there has been a name change and these are now sold as Morimoto's.

Apparently there has been a merger, or rebranding of the GTR Carbide C8 style lights and they are now called Morimoto C8 style lights and gain the famous Morimoto 5 year warranty (was only 2 years under GTR Carbide). I'm pretty sure I was told that Morimoto and GTR Carbide are owned by the same parent company anyway, so it doesn't really matter that much other than being confusing now depending on how you refer to these lights. They are both technically now Morimoto lights, just yours are C7 style and the GTR's are now know as C8 style.
