Default 2011 gs convertable supercharged

New here sorry
looking for some advice
Last year bought a supercharged 2011 gs with x pipe cam and full length headers.
First cyl 8 had a missfire then clearex up after oil change then cyl 4 wich went from bad to a screaching lifter sound. Just took heads off and cyl 4 and 8 ex lifter is stuck. Grrr 8 out of 16 lifters sound like gravel in roller bearings. Do i pull block or just put a cam and lifters and oil pump in??

This exact scenario happened to me, and I had the engine pulled because metal shavings scored the cam bearings. I could have just rebuilt it with stock components since the bottom end was fine (in theory), but I took the opportunity to forge the bottom end.

This was my thread (click me).

And this was the result:

Good luck.

thanks for that. Gona pull cam this weekend and check the bearings and lobe damage. Have 2 lifters that are gona have to be removed from cam side. Also gona cut filter open. Doesnt seem like a lot of destructive damage other than the wasted lifter roller bearings

Replace all lifters with caddie lifters and cam check push rods for bends check pan and filter if nothing significant and send it change oil and filer after and hour of run time, continue to monitor,.
