The mc on the '12 was replaced before I purchased it. I did replace the mc on my Z06 myself. I was within the extended coverage period but don't trust a Chevy dealer to work on my Callaway. I replaced it myself then sent a letter to GM requesting reimbursement for the cost of the new mc, and they sent me a check with a letter of apology.

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea about the high failure rate for the clutch master cylinder. I’ll have to watch some install videos.

Watch some videos. Remove wheel, fender liner and IMO, get a helper. to hold one end as you connect the other end.
