Is there people who want an unbiased review of the max-din out here? I can write something up about the unit and support of the unit if there is interest in such a thing.
I have one sitting here waiting to be installed, so I'm all ears (eyes).
I need to take a few pics of the unit over the next couple days to explain and I'll be happy to provide it. We can discuss functionality, what the unit does well, what it doesn't and most importantly... .......support.

I'm pretty sure I've seen your posts on the Facebook page as well.
I have had mine in for 6 months, I absolutely love it. I had an aftermarket one in prior and had already hooked up front and rear cameras. The install was a breeze, no issues, I connected my existing two cameras. I downloaded the Agama app to use on my main screen and put the apps on that I wanted to quick connect to.
I haven't had any issues with it. I didn't get a sim card for it, I just use the apple car play. I don't drive it enough to really warrant the sim, you can get for about $15 a month if you want to have it as a standalone connection. The apple car play connect pretty fast, about the same as my daily driver. I am used to Apple so took some playing with to get used to Android. The stereo sound is great, took some playing with the settings to get it perfect.
I would recommend this unit if you are on the fence.
The 4 buttons on the left and right sides of the screen... Are you able to custom select the colors? I see some out there in red, purple, blue.... Considering it's such a high dollar purchase, I'm sure most people would rather have more info on it than less. Sounds like a good idea!

Have had mine i stalled since October. Haven't messed around with it a while lot and still need to figure out how to cutomize the home screen. Overall a very polished piece of tech - it single-handedly fully modernizes the interior IMO. Have a dedicated hotspot for waze, netflix etc.
Some of the functionality is pretty straightforward, others you have to hunt around for -
Bluetooth = phone
BT Music = BT audio (wireless) both phone and stereo for music and video
CAM = BU camera (I have mine setup for both tbe Reverse switch and a button)
To pair new device ---> Bluetooth -> upper right "chain" icon -> pair new device
To select connected device - Bluetooth -> upper right "chain" icon

yes multiple colors to select from and can also have it rotate colors. I just want to get some pictures of the various screens to give everyone a visual to accompany a review. Should get it done this weekend.
I'd be interested. Never thought I'd consider buying one seriously due to the cost and possible loss of support but after looking into the alternatives, this is back on the list for consideration.
My understanding is that this is a single source item from the builder in the Las Vegas area. I would definitely be interested in what type of a warranty is offered. Also any issues with glare on the screen? This seems to be a problem with many other head units.
