Default Another convertible top problem.

Hopefully someone has had this problem other than just me. Out of the blue when I put the top down the back edge of the tonneau cover rubs or another pinch’s the trunk lid. I’ve tried to adjust the tonneau cover but can’t seem to get it where doesn’t hit. Any suggestions. Thanks

There is an adjustment to the straps on the top.

I don't believe the OP is talking about this common issue. He says the rear of the tonneau cover is contacting and/or pinching against the trunk lid when closing.

FYI, I watched that video on the back glass problem, and the problem is that the elastic in the strap wears out and stretches, so just moving the hole on the strap will most likely only result in a temporary fix until the strap stretches again.

Instead, I replaced both my straps with a more substantial flat bungee cord.

Someone else also did this with a bungee and a couple hog rings.

Did you find the trunk adjustment ? And did it fix your problem?
