Newb on these boards, and up until yesterday was setting my sites on a c7. Well,I just found a c6 with under 10k on the odometer, it seems to check all my boxes on paper. I have been in contact with the owner, and we are in the process of setting up a time to go have a look. My Vette purchase whether this or a yet unseen car, will probably be my first and last purchase. This car is an LS3 equipped car with a stick, and 3LT trim. Absolutely no issues with the dash. . I will be receiving the CARFAX this evening from the current owner. Hopefully it looks as good in person as it does in the pics.
Congratulations on your find, i luv finding these low mileage cars. The 3LT doesn't have dash issues it's the 4LT with the leather dash. Good luck and post pics when you get your new ride

I was able to check out the 09’ on Monday evening. The car was as beautiful as I thought it would be. Runs and drives as a car with 9800 miles should. The only issues I could see, were a slight bit of curb rash on right front rim,a dozen little nicks in a 3”span,(chrome rims),and almost 16 year old tires. They were manufactured 3408.(as per code on all tires.) These are the originals. The car is advertised as having NEW tires and brakes from last season. I showed the seller the code on the tires,he said the guy he bought the car from told him they were brand new. I made an offer of a $1000 less than his asking price. I feel no matter how good the tires appear, they are going on 16 years old. Whatever car I end up with,I will occasionally be giving it the feed, but not with old sneakers! He’s thinking about it. My friends think I made him a more than fair offer, and agree with the entire safety issue of old tires. My search continues……
Well, he accepted my offer! Dropping off a deposit, and off to the credit union.
Congratulations! Share some pictures when you can. LS3/3LT/10K miles is a well favored C6 by today's measurements.
If it means anything to you, last year I had the pleasure of driving a friend's C7 convertible. The cockpit and curb appeal was simply not my thing. I must be a traditionalist because like you, I bought an LS3/3LT/12K miles. Mine is a fully featured 2013 GS convertible with Automatic, Dual-Mode Exhaust and Mag-Ride. I am one very happy guy with mine in Crystal Red Tintcoat over 100% Tan.
Congrats ROCRAY! You will be super happy with the C6. I just purchased a 09 myself, 3LT, Z51, NPP, fully loaded and I absolutely love it. I too thought I wanted a C7 but this car has it all and have no regrets! Welcome aboard.
Congrats! I too recently purchased a low mileage C6 with original tires. Get 'em swapped, pronto.
I had a C6 then a C7 and now I'm back in a C6. The C7 is a better car in many ways, but honestly I never liked the 7-speed, I didn't like the dash (too easy to hit my knee on the sharp edge) and although it was marginally more refined and certainly performs better, it (IMHO) doesn't look as good and my particular example smelled like a glue factory. And it had even more road noise, if that's possible.
