Considering (still) replacing my 2008, C6 base headlight lenses/gaskets. I have followed R L Sebring's posts and website for a couple of years and retracing my steps I learned today of his passing in 12/2023. RIP Robert.....My question today, Robert had the expertise and I'm sure his product reflected that expertise. However now replacements have to come from other sources and I'm guessing the ebay adds I'm seeing are products from China. Robert unsurprisingly knocked those in favor of his. Anyone in the forum have suggestions and or experience with these "other" lenses and gaskets and their links? TIA

I agree. Contact Umnitza about their Zen6 lenses. I used their lenses when I replaced the lenses on my 2007 and they are top notch. Their gaskets at the time left a lot to be desired, but I have heard that they have since fixed this issue. I believe Umnitza also will do the lens replacement for you if your send them your lights.
Another option, if you don't want to do the lense replacement yourself, is to contact Choppy's Headlights. I believe they can either take your lights on trade for an upgraded set, or you can send your lights to have them do the work. I don't have personal experience with Choppy's, but the pictures I've seen of their work are stellar.

Check out Umnitza for lenses and gaskets. Did my own, same color as your car, by the way. Time consuming for not difficult. Worst part is removing the old factory glue holding the lens to the lamp body. Just takes time.

I have looked into doing it, the "baking" part worries me!!!! I am NOT mechanically inclined! -- I am just a girl that loves Corvette!
