Hey Bluez, I guess I found you too late after I already bought the Mechman 240--I saw your website and it had clutches and motor mounts, I didn't see anything about alternators. But you say you've installed lot of them?
You're saying you didn't have to change the pulley or the idle? This is the one I got: https://www.mechman.com/s-series-bil...finish-bstock/ along with the SacCity Cable upgrade. Is that the same one you sell?
It makes a bit of a whine and it seems like the belt was a lot more difficult to put on than before. The multimeter says 14.6 volts at Idle, but it was sitting at 13 when I first started it up... I see you're in Forney--I'm in Plano, what all services do you do? Thanks!
Here is a link to a YouTube video where you can hear it in the back. It sounds like a 'supercharger" whine. The instructions say that could be a grounding issue?? I wonder if this "B-Stock" is defective:

It is NOT the 250 AMP that Mechman puts the warning on, it's the 240 AMP.

I was just disappointed that you couldn't get the 250 AMP in chrome, but there are custom color options. Hope this helps.
