Hi, removed the calippers for painting. Put them on again, and started bleeding rr and lr. When I started on rf the brake pedal was hard, as if there were no air. I took the brakehose of the calipper, same result. Tried ignition on, and to start the car. Still the same on both front calippers.
Do I need a diagnostic tool to be able to bleed brake fluid through the abs module and all the way through the calippers?
If you had air in the system, the pedal would be soft, not hard.
I know, that's why I ask😀 Make no sense, but there is air in the system, and the brake pedal is hard. I am wondering if the solonoid valves i the abs module could cause the problem🤷
Manage to bleed the front calippers with suction. But still have the problem.
Rear brakes are working, front is not. Could it be the main brake cylinder? But I guess it is the abs module that control pressure front/rear?

Didnt cap the lines, but had the brake pedal locked all the way in. Shouldt bleed much then, and I cant see that it did either.
Ah ha. "Locked all the way in" may be your issue. It's possible that you damaged the master cylinder.
If you didn't empty the reservoir by bleeding or leaking out the lines while doing the work, I don't really see how air could have gotten in the system.

I had the same problem, bleed the brakes one day because the fluid was old and made matters worse. Braking was basically non-existent.
After doing some research, I discovered that air got trapped in the ABS unit and cause my braking issue. Since I didn't have (at that time) a scan tool with the auto-bleed feature, I ended applying the brake hard on a gravel road to activate the ABS pump several times and that release the air from the ABS unit. I then drove home and re-bleed the brake again. This returned my braking system back to normal. I have since purchased a scan tool with the auto-bleed feature and plan to bleed the brake at the end of the driving season.

What is the manufacturer and model of the scan tool that you purchased?
