I bought one for my 2012 GS convertible. It does cut down on the wind with the top down.If you enjoy driving with the top down it’s worth the money. We hardly ever drive our car much less with the top down but it’s there if and when we drive it.
I've got the Wind Restrictor that I added some custom engraving from King Penn Industries on my '13 Vert and its terrific as 2004avalanche says. We lower the top whenever possible so enjoy the wind reduction, wife especially likes having it. Quite a few threads about this topic that you should search. Some like them and others use other brands.
It made the wife happy because her hair wasn't slapping her in the face all the time, and that made it worth every penny. And once it's installed you don't have to mess with it to get the top up and down. I've had the car up to 90+ MPH with the top down (windows up) with minimal buffeting, so it definitely cuts down on that roll back
Bought one and yes, it helps with top down wind buffeting. It helps a bunch more with the windows up, but I never do that. I have the top down most of the time I am in the Centennial.

It's literally "Windrestrictor". I believe they are a forum vendor, so there's no problem posting this: https://windrestrictor.com/
Install was vey easy, although for my 2011 I did have to make a special modification to the side panel. The only thing I really had to remove was the partition with the speakers. They have install videos and instructions onlline.
Side note, don't forget to re-index the windows after you do this if you install the optional LED lighting and disconnect the battery in the process. The first time I did that, I couldn't for the life of me get the top to operate. Finally, after a frustrating half hour, I searched for the solution and learned about the re-indexing.
You'll need to secure the top open because the hydraulics lose their pressure over time, and they'll fall back down otherwise. I got those bungies from Harbor Freight, and I just used my sun shade to hold up the tonneau cover the same way I did when installing my rear camera recently:
