OBDII scanner
I recently installed aftermarket head unit using install setup from Crutchfield.
Any chance that removing factory radio caused the loss of data from the OBDII port?
Have not checked with another type of scan tool but may get that done. Just curious what you guys think??

And if still problems and different scanner has same problems, disconnect battery, and spray clean the connectors on the BCM as well (including the red center connector). Also, check grounds on 4 and 5 pins.
Simply, if car will start, then BCM is fine for the rest of the system, and problem is just the OBDII that connects to the BCM directly.
Also, what Elm327, to what program is going blue tooth or wifi. I Bring this up, since may have the program your using set to blue tooth, while the program is looking for Wifi instead (or vice versa instead). Hence on my phone I use torque PRO that is looking a blue tooth signal native, while use a elm327 wifi device, so had to go into Torque pro settings, to switch if over to wifi.
