recently bought a couple body panels and a hood vent, in the plastic flat black "unpainted" (i think its just primer technically) and my unpopular opinion: i like the look.
Question is how can i keep them looking the same but protected? (UV, ect)
Tried a Matte clear coat and it drastically changed the finish, satin is too shiny and darkens the look, i just want them the way they are.
Anyone experienced a clear coat that is essentially invisible? Or should i just keep it waxed and hope it doesnt fade?
I'm no longer sure of the brand but I had found a satin black trim paint the matched the factory plastic. Can't use wax or polishes on paint that is supposed to be dull.
