I have a full Corsa exhaust system on my 2007 c6 base model and I was wondering if there are any headers that would bolt right on to the corsas system.
I've run speed engineering headers on all my cars for the last 5 years... they're a great buy for the money and fitment was top notch before they changed the design. I hear the newer ones are a little worse with the o2 placement but cant say for sure.
Another advantage to the speed engineering is if you run their off road X it provides all 3 combinations to make whatever exhaust work (pre 08 ls2/ls3, 09 up ls3, and z06/zr1 3 inch).

I was trying to avoid getting there x pipe to be honest that’s why I was asking about the bolting straight on to the corsa system but I’ve heard good things about their x pipe.

You cannot bolt longtubes to a shorty midpipe without cutting a lot of pipe out.
You need to clarify what you mean by “Corsa System”.
By default they make axle backs. They also make x pipes which most do not typically buy because they are a waste of money since there is little to no gain in swapping mid pipes.
The smarter play is to run their axle backs and swap the midpipe when you go to longtubes.

This is how it looks I don’t know much because the previous owner had it installed.

ok, I would say that looks to me like you have a Corsa x pipe, just by the shine can what an oem one would look like.
yea you would change out the x pipe when you went with longtubes, hence why most people don’t go with a midpipe when on stock headers.

so when buying my spd engineering headers I would also have to get their xpipe so it would fit?
if this is true, then why do the grand sports and higher models get a factory X pipe?
my 2012 GS has a factory X pipe.
What relevance does one have to the other? I said upgrading the x pipe. Because Chevy changed from an H to an x has no relevance to the topic. They will tell you an x has better scavenging though. Doesn’t mean there is any engine hp from it.
PS: not all grand sports had x pipes. 12/13’s did as well as some other differences in the mid pipe. Doesn’t mean it was for HP though.
Not trying to be a negative Nancy, but be careful with Speed Engineering headers. I have heard a few people say they worked for them, but my experience with them on my z06 was terrible. No matter what I tried/how I tried to clearance them, they wouldn’t fit. Ended up returning them and ordered Texas Speed headers as I had them on my base and they fit great.
