help with external door handle
I have a 2008 C6 convertible that I am having issues with the external door handle to get in the car. I have tried taking the mechanism off and cleaning it but it still does not work. Sometimes it works and other times it does not. Any suggestions at all would be appreciated.

Agree with the above. And does it open fine from the inside? So the latch actuator is ruled out.
GM switch 22751230....about 40 bucks. Looks like the 2 for $16 Chinese ones get pretty poor reviews so maybe steer clear of them.

If this is not the case and it still will not open when you switch the pads, Then it would be your door latch assembly.
