After 20 plus years on the Corvette Forum, I've decided to hang up the keys. My reasons center around the fact I'm 85 years old and I received some dreaded news concerning my health. I have truly enjoyed my time here, reading your posts and to those who offered advice on how to solve a mystery, of which there are many, thank you for the help. As an aside, I will be selling my pristine 2010 crystal red GS metallic convertible tan top. Car is like new. I will not be advertising the car on this or any other forum, rather if some local in Florida would like to see it they could message me. Otherwise, it will be used as partial payment for a new Genesis. Again, thanks for great memories.
Don't leave us! I am very sorry to hear of the health change, and pry it will improve. I'm telling you though, you do not have to own a corvette to be here. You are a member in good standing and are welcome here anytime. In 20 years I'm sure you have great experiences you can still share with us. Stick around.
Ron, Thank you for your 20 plus years of being a forum member. I'm sorry to hear about your health issues . Wishing you and your family the best. Take care
It’s a tough age I’m about 6 years behind you. The last year I had medical issues and it’s not easy. I have a 2007 convertible that I would love to get a GS . I just wish i
was younger.
Time of life changes can be hard. It doesn't matter, it's a seemingly small thing to others, such as changing out a car. To us, it's a connection, a lifestyle choice. It's a brotherhood and sisterhood. I don't subscribe to the "one door opens when one closes" mentality. It should be OK to say "This is hard", and let you go through a mourning period of your own choosing.
@Bronk "Good-Bye" has the ring of finality, and it is fitting.
I wish you the best on the health issues you are facing. I hope the Genesis can bring you some automotive joy, in its own way.

May all the good times you had with your corvette keep a smile on your face in the not so good times to come. WE are with you, if not in body than in spirit as we are all going to go down that road sooner or later. Stay strong.
Semper Fi devil dog....
Your Vette is exactly what I am looking for. Unfortunately not in the market at the moment. Best of luck with your health issues.
Best of luck to you. I understand the age and health things. I had to sell my Z06 because of clutch leg knee issues and am dreading the day I may sell my current corvette
At 81 the car seems lower than years ago, but I'm afraid it's me, not the Corvette that's changing.
Anyway, enjoy your new ride and future years in it. Good luck.
