Default Led light conversion

Good afternoon, Everyone. I am new to this Forum so if this is in the wrong place, please let me know.

I recently acquired a 07 Indy 500 pace car in great condition for the most part. I am looking to convert all the exterior lights to LED just to bring them up to date and have a nicer look. Does anyone know if all the lights would be plug and play or do I need to add resistors to each light? I'm looking to do all the headlights and fog lights which usually a good LED set will be CANBUS ready and plug and play. What about the brake lights and marker lights? In past vehicles I have had to add a resistor to each bulb. Wondering if anyone else has done this.

Thank you!
-Jeff

I bought everything from Vette Lights and I did not have to add any resistors and I replaced every light or assembly I could on the outside and Inside.

Did you replace just the light bulbs themselves or did you buy all new housing for everything. I was just going to replace all the bulbs if thats an option.

Turn signals f&r can be plug and play if you use add-on harnesses that have built in load resistors. Otherwise, you'll need to wire in the resistors yourself. For all things LED I'd highly recommend forum vendor Sharp Lights Innovations. They have a wide selection of hi quality LEDs and make the harnesses in house.

All these exterior lights are LEDs from Sharp Lights

Default I agree with the changes in ALL of the lights to LED's

I did exactly the same thing and never looked back. As far as the headlights........the Morimoto's are a MAJOR improvement in not only night vision, but also in looks. I hate the "bug eye" look of the stock lights, and they are terrible at night in comparison to the Morimoto's.

The Morimoto's are much better that the OEM headlights for illumination and of course the look is amazing

Used the black out LED tail lights too

And the side marker black out LED's complete the look

I just ordered all of the interior lighting, underhood and reverse lights this weekend from Vett Lights……it’ll give me yet another set of projects to do once the bulbs get here
