Unhook your fuel line at the firewall, find a container to pump it into, run a rubber hose from the fuel line to said container, then do a key on engine off, jump the fuel pump relay at the fusebox and pump it out until its dry.
I gotta ask though? How? Theres alot of steps you have to go through to select diesel at the pump.
You're going to need to drain and flush the system. Remember that these cars essentially have two fuel tanks that are connected with a crossover tube. Diesel is thicker and doesn't burn near as fast as gasoline. If you continue to run it, bad things can happen (injectors, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, etc.). On the bright side, it's actually a lot worse to run regular gas in a diesel engine. At least you don't have to worry about blowing up your motor. Good luck.

I feel like of have heard of people running it out and being “ok”
I personally would not want to take that risk and would drain it.Aren’t the diesel pumps bigger nozzles that they cannot fit in a standard filler neck?

Maybe less than a gallon, 5 gallons no chance, bad thing is the damage may already be done. Injectors are probably toast.

I would say this - then fill it up with premium & run it.
How did you even DO THAT. The nozzle is bigger on a diesel pump and shouldnt even fit?
been working with my dad filling diesel trucks and then I was just foggy this morning and went into automation mode. I didn’t even notice the nozzle being different. Honestly feel awful about it. It got towed to a shop for free via road side assistance and they will fix it up for me .

The nozzle is supposed to have a larger diameter so it won't even fit into gasoline fillers.

This is great advise for it is what an auto repair shop will do.....if they are any good.
What residual diesel fuel remains inside, should not harm the vehicle systems. Just burn it out using 93 octane gasoline as the flushing agent. I would then run down the tank until the fuel warning light comes on, then repeat once more. And don't take your time doing so. Use your Corvette as your primary vehicle to burn through two tanks of 93 octane in a timely manner.
Like it was mentioned, burning a gallon of diesel with a full tank of gasoline might be okay, but 4 gallons is surely risky. You just might be okay, but I would not take the chance.
I wonder if diesel fuel will naturally mix with gasoline, or if the two fuels will separate like water and gas. Hopefully they mix well so the car does not experience 100% diesel at any given point.

Something tells me he ran out of gas and filled a 5 gallon can or found one laying around in the garage.
I think I've even heard of people putting 10% ethanol gas in their high end car by mistake and had to get the system flushed. Opposite of cheap, we're not talkin about a radiator and a garden hose.
