Default Morimoto headlights

I decided to go with the C7 style headlights. Hopefully soon I’ll get them installed. I wanted to know how many used laminix on the new headlights? And issues like some people had cracking with the factory headlights. The new headlights are not as hot and
it was recommended by Vette lights to use it. ( Cole)
thank you

I didn’t do the laminix. Just coated with collinite 845. Car is in garage 98% of the time so YMMV

Did you get these installed yet? I got mine last week. I am debating on tackling it myself or having someone do it. Nervous about removing bumper.

I doubt Morimotos are as flimsy as the original GM units, but I’m going to Cerakote mine.

I did my own conversion of fog light to Morimoto 2banger Combo beam "driving" lights. They are SAE/DOT approved. (if of course aim is correct). Story n here somewhere on it. More time involved in doing it but what a difference!
