I bought my 2010 GS 9/2023 with 6,600 mi on the clock. Had all fluids changed: Oil, Coolant, Clutch. The manual isn’t clear on service miles. She now has 10K on her and has lots of oil life left. Should I bring her in for a service, or……???

Just me but I change oil every 5000 miles (easy to remember...change it now at 10k, next at 15k, etc) or once per year, whichever comes first.
Oil is when the oil life monitor indicates or 1 year, whichever occurs first. Coolant is every 5 years. If all other fluids were changed, what other service so you think it needs?

I don’t think it needs any service, but usually there are “Service Intervals”. That’s what I’m not sure of. This is my first Vette that wasn’t out of the 60’s.
Just drive it. You only have 3400 miles on the oil and all the fluids, and your oil should be fine for the next several months if you want to wait a full year. If you really want to do a service on it, just check the cabin air filter and your A/C system refrigerant charge. Tire life and tread (depending on the type) would be the only other item to address at this point. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks!!! Oh, the cabin filter was done when I bought her as well!
I had my oil analyzed after 1500 miles and two track days (one was in 93 degree weather) and a year of use. Blackstone told me the oil was fine and that it could go to 3k miles. It looked great as it was draining. I could have put it in my truck.

People on these parts are way more cautious with oil for who knows why. You could run the oil for 10k miles without issues. You can run it well past a year if you want too, used oil analysis of oil that was several years old showed it to be effectively unchanged from new.

While true, a DIY oil change on the GS (w/dry sump) is ~$70. If one is worried about spending $70/annually on the car, a Corvette was probably not the best option.

Ha ha ha!!!! Oil is no problem, I was concerned with Service. Full service. I think I’m good now, thx

I agree, this modern oil is pretty bullet proof, that being said though I'm religious every 3000 and I think its just because it was pounded into my head by every old boomer who taught me to work on cars lol. Its one of those things I wish I could shake but I cant lol

I absolutely agree. When I buy a new car I change the oil at 2000 miles (arbitrary) thinking it will dump any 'wear' metal. I change it again at 5k and every 5k after that because it is easy to remember. Every car I have 9have had) get more than 5k/year so the annual change doesn't apply.
Our big rigs went 20k miles between changes and oil analysis said we could have gone more.
