I just bought a 2013 427 Convertible and I haven't gotten it yet. I know the front lip spoiler is scuffed. The seller said it scrapes on his driveway apron and he sent me pictures. I'd like to order a new one but it appears there are several different kinds. I just want to get the correct one that came with the car. No carbon fiber and fancy spoiler. Can someone help me source the correct one? Thank you.
I think that particular model uses the same front lip as the grand sport and Z06 models do. That should help with your search.
Not sure offhand where to get one, but knowing what you want ahead of time is half the battle.
Edit; I just did a quick search and found a couple places. One of them they want over $500 for it though.
Here is the same thing for half the price. Different seller. Shop around some. I don’t know if you’ll find one much less than this though.
You could also check around and see if someone is parting out a widebody.
Not sure I understand what varries? It’s the same lip from 2005-2013.
They only made 2 lips. The regular widebody lip and the zr1 lip (which I think only ever came in carbon)
Here is the part number as well as a link to a wholesaler

I have the one from EOS, It’s inexpensive and fits well. I usually keep a spare on hand since they are easily damaged by road debris or large curbs. I consider it a sacrificial piece that protects the bottom of the front bumper from scuffing.
it comes in a semi-gloss/eggshell type finish of raw black plastic. I didn’t paint mine since the finish was flawless, but they do occasionally have surface flaws making painting necessary.
On rare occasion my low-hanging air dam (the rubber flapper thingie) will make minor contact to a sloping road surface, for example at some gas stations. I never considered that to be of concern.
I thought the OP was talking about that in his opener.

Not the spoiler that's tucked underneath. This is the spoiler lip that attaches under the bumper.
not from the factory they didn’t.
I though OP was asking about an oem piece?
I was. But I just don't know if they are black plastic or painted from the factory. I haven't gotten the car yet and am unsure. I'd like to order the part while I wait for delivery.

The OEM piece, not the one on indyblue's car, are black satin.
