So swamped out paddles and than swaped purple and black wire but keeps blowing cruise control switch, it shares fuse.
So thinking maybe but doubted created a short doing this, I swapped wire back, and all is good no fuse blowing, thou no F1 either as it’s back to factory.
Yes could be Tan looked Black or dark brown, but after going back to stock wire setup and working, I said to myself try again double and triple check, and it worked with out taking out fuse. Some guy on YouTube had same issue but he changed fuse and was good to go, not so for me. Not sure what was happening but I'm a pro at C6 Air Bag removal and changing the wiring in shift connector. 4th time took 5 minutes top.
But I could of sworn the Gear shift displayed on the dash DICT. Mine is showing in HUD but not DICT.
I popped White Piece off then slide thin jewelers Screwdriver down front where white piece was to relieve the Hook wires slide out like no tomorrow.
